Adult Bnei Mitzvah
Adult B'Mitzvah
Are you interested in celebrating B'Mitzvah as an adult?
We’d love to offer you the opportunity!
There are many reasons to consider celebrating B’Mitzvah in your adult years. Maybe you weren’t Jewish when you were 13. Maybe your family didn’t belong to a shul that offered you the opportunity. Maybe you are approaching the traditional age (83) for celebrating a “second B’Mitzvah.” Maybe you simply relish the thought of engaging in a program of study, towards a meaningful Jewish ritual celebrated in community.
Whatever your reason, reach out for a chat, and let’s begin imagining your journey!
Sharing the Bimah with my granddaughter, Juliette Finsten for our joint Bat Mitzvah was a supreme pleasure.
Our year of study opened up a world of Judaism for both of us and Juliette found her niche in wonderful friendships in Rabbi Nicole’s Thursday after-school class.
It is never too late to learn or to absorb new found knowledge. It warms the heart and soul.

"I chose to celebrate my 50th birthday by doing an adult Bat Mitzvah, and to use the occasion to start wearing a tallit, which I’d never done before. The preparation and the experience on the day were deeply meaningful to me - I couldn’t have imagined a better way to mark that milestone birthday."
