We are here for you....

Together, the clergy and our Care Team of volunteers strive to keep our congregation a "Temple family."  We reach out by phone and through visits to hospital or other care facilities to help keep the plague of loneliness at bay, to comfort the bereaved in times of mourning, to affirm that every individual's wellbeing is at the heart of our concern as a community, and simply to let our members know they matter.

It's important to note that NSTE is no longer informed by the hospitals when one of our members is admitted. So please let us know if you or a loved one are in need of a hospital visit, some pre-cooked meals or other support.

Though we cannot send Care Team volunteers into private homes for visits, we can deliver our pre-cooked meals, provide other types of assistance, or connect you with an agency when ongoing practical assistance is needed. Our clergy also provide pastoral care and spiritual support when you are going through a difficult time or transition. Reach out if we can support you.

Please also let us know if you would like us to include your name (aloud) in our blessing for healing during Shabbat services for the coming month.

Would you like to assist with phone calls, visits, delivering meals and shiva plates, transportation, or making meals we can freeze and have on hand for when needs arise?  I will lend a hand.

May all in need of healing know a refuah sh'leimah--complete healing.
