Creating a sense of Jewish identity starts early, so come along to our family programs and get connected to a fun and supportive community that will help you and your kids make new friendships and deepen old ones.

Apples and Honey Preschool

At Apples and Honey Preschool, the children in our care are at the heart of everything we do. Their voices, and yours as their primary carers, are incorporated in our programming and curriculum, which is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework. 

Every day we rejoice with the children in their successes as they learn, relate and shape their own stories and experience through play, friendships and learning experiences.

Growing Souls Shabbats

Combine Pizza dinner, a fun activity or story, with Shabbat prayers and you get our Growing Souls Shabbat for children 0-8 and their families. We meet every six weeks or so on a Friday from 5:30pm-6:30 pm.  Please register so all our growing souls can be well fed. ***link to registration form***  Photo***

Hands-Free Tefilah

A joy for all ages, our quarterly 'Hands Free' Tefilah service is an engaging, innovative, liberating worship experience that frees participants from the printed page. 

Lead by our children and held quarterly in the Valerie Jaye Hall on a Friday night, these services are filled with song, beautiful photos, and special blessings for those with birthdays in the quarter. Don't miss the chocolate cake at Kiddush!

Family BBQs

Our hugely popular Family BBQs are a great time to socialise with other parents and kids in our courtyard.  An afternoon not to be missed for all ages 0-18 and their families (grandparents too).  Organised and catered with love by Alexis and Jono Selby.
